Forest vs Malmö and past encounters. The both teams have a special connection, also meeting in Forest's previous European adventure in the mid-90s European competition, but it is the premier competition final 46 years ago that connects these teams, with the record-breaking signing Francis heading the only goal of a largely forgettable match to clinch eternal glory for the red half of Nottingham.

It's also interesting to consider Malmö, who became the first, and to date the last Scandinavian side to advance to the ultimate game under manager Houghton.

This match is a far cry from that peak, closer perhaps to the earlier European encounter between Forest and Malmö in the mid-nineties. Forest are full of confidence after defeating Liverpool convincingly at the famous ground on Saturday, while Malmö haven't played officially since last month following the conclusion of their domestic campaign. The general expectation is on the home team tonight.
